Let's just get the heck out of there and let everyone blow each other up. Israel, Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Afganistan, etc...etc...
These people have been fighting each other since the beginning of time. Does anyone really think there will ever be a lasting peace?? (and don't cop out and answer with "when America pulls out..." that's bull. We're not the cause of their problems...

I don't think lasting peace will ever occur on this earth. It hasn't lasted yet. In all of history humans will continue to battle each other for this or that.
The best security policy the US could have to become totally energy independent and then we don't need a drop of oil from anyone.

I agree, if where that simple. what do you run your car on?
what do you heat your home with? At work what do you do,I'll
guess it depends on oil in some way. if we stabilize the region
we keep on going. if we lose access to the oil we stop. like it or not that's the way it is. when we finally get someone to say, Yes its about the oil and not all this other BS, we can get some agreement about why we are doing this but what makes me sick , are all these BS highminded ideals that BUSH puts out.
IT is about the OIL it has to be we need it., But all these wack jobs we are dealing with makes it a F###ING mess!

No, we're not the cause of their problems, but they create them for us.
It's not as simple as get out of there. Remember Sept 11th? If we don't fight them there, we WILL fight them here. Suicide bombers at places like the National Mall, Disney World...
The radical muslims are on a mission to either kill or convert the world to Islam. Pulling out of there isn't going to make us safe, it is going to bring the Jihad here! I don't know about you, but I would prefer to keep my children safe. I would like for them to resist the jihad as we are doing, at a time and a place of our choosing, not theirs.
Why don't you people GET that?!
