Like almost all nations in the world they have nuclear weapons.
Before long they all will and some might start using them.
Russia has nuclear weapons and are drowning in debt.
Saudi's have tons of money. Now so does Iraq.
that is a very bad combination.

Harbouring would suggest hiding, but the UK doesn't try to hide the fact that we are a nuclear power and therefore have weapons of mass desctruction....

The UK have had WMD for many years. This includes our missiles with nuclear warheads. We had stockpiles of mustard gas at one time, and have also looked into germ warfare. Who knows what might be going on in secret? Our politicians however do have WMD's of their very own, (weapons of mass distraction). The war on terror is the favoured one at present.
