It certainly could...depends on your definition of a good job. I doubt that it's a show-stopper in many professions, but you can probably kiss goodbye a job as a commercial airline pilot or school bus driver.

It can. Was this your first offense? If it was you should not have a record. Did you not get a lawyer? How many DWI's do you have? Hopefully you just got a misdemeanor, your should not have even gotten that on your first offense if you had a good lawyer. If you got a misdemeanor then a lot of companies won't check for these, they only check for felonies. Some do check though. Don't drink and drive. You take others lives in your incapable hands and look how the outcome has been for you already. Its not worth it. Your lucky you only got a DWI. I am not trying to lecture, it is just the truth. Now too so many states are cracking down on this and there is not much leeway with the states and they tend to punish. Good luck man!

Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNELb
Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.
You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

It shouldn't matter if you did not do something while being DWI that would have caused a felony offense. Also if you will be doing driving on the job, then it would effect whether you would get it or not. Get yourself some help so you do not repeat the offense. If you are up for getting a good job, you have done something right with your life and have a lot to lose.

It would depend on the situation. Usually a perspective employer does background checks to make sure that you are not an axe murderer or some sort of psychopath. And if they have a concern about your DWI conviction, they will probably ask for a letter of explanation.

Check the state laws. Some states it is illegal to not hire someone according to their background (I know Maryland is one of them).
It WILL hinder you if you want a job involving driving, truck driver, taxi driver, etc.
As for other jobs, it depends on the state.

Depends what kind of job you want.
If you want a job as a truck driver, for example, then yes it will affect your chances. If you are looking for a job as an accountant, however, it will not.
