They've never been married. They were together previously, but they broke up several seasons back. Eventually, they got back together. After baby Joe was born, Luka brought up the idea, but Abbey shot him down. Then, Luka proposed last week, but Abbey said no. Last night, she had a change of heart after dealing with a difficult situation at work and asked Luka to ask her again...so, now they are engaged.

ALERT...if you have not seen Feb 8th epi, don't read.
Abby did not want to marry Luka. Something happened at the hospital that made her change her mind, so she came home to Luka all excited and asked him to ask her again. Not thinking, Luka asked "what"? When he figured it out, he stood her up, got down on one knee and popped the question. So no, they have not been married to my knowledge.

They are engaged now... she did call him her husband last week with the police but they have never been married... yet!!! I'm so excited that they are getting married! What is going to happen with Ray and Nela!!! I hope they put them together!!!

He asked her once to marry him. She turned him down. They had the baby. Ames nearly killed him. She lost a patient and thought it best to marry him in case something happened to her. The patient never had the chance to have his father see him on stage.
