There is a rumor that President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo will endorse Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago for President on 2010 Elections. Meaning Miriam Defensor Santiago will be the Administration candidate on 2010 so she has a better chances of winning.
Can she make the Philippines as one of the First World Countries within six years is she becomes president? Can she make the Philippine government as the most honest government in Asia?

once the systems are full of graft and corruptions it will stay that way even if defensor is a very honest person.we have said before that cory will be a good president during the people's power.but it turn out to be that we better off during the marcos time.it will take a great miracles to make the philippines a no.1 country in asia.six years are not enough time to do so.corruption, its in the blood of politicians and those trying to be one .its a deceases our government cannot heal.as long the poverty are way up in every communities then philippines will stay that way.the poor got poorer the rich got richer.

That's magic. but i believe she can do better compare to other candidates. To all the critics of Miriam i suggest that you should know her personaly before you judge. I as a filipino i support good people without any politics behind.

Philippines needs the whole citizenry to work together to attain an honest government in Asia.... lets presume Mirriam is honest and brave to face all the problems.. how about the people surrounding her? these people are the same people hu governs the present government... so all filipinos are needed to clean these govt not mirrian santiago alone.

Nooo way! She didn't make it before, and won't now. Besides, endorsement by Mrs Arroyo is the kiss of death for anybody.
The only thing that will advance Philippines is discipline of the population, and (equal) enforcement of the law.

Mirriam is a very good lawyer and honest public servant, I would vote for her in 2010.
no2 question: she cant do it alone. All citizen has the responsibility to to make this nation an honest government.
