The unit of force is the Newton (symbolized as "N"). Converting this to SI base units, 1 N = 1 kg m/s^2.

Weight is a force and therefore also has units of Newtons (or the equivalent of SI base units).

Pressure is Force / Area. You now know the unit of force is the Newton. The unit of area is the square meter (m^2).
Pressure = N / m^2. This unit has a special name....the Pascal.
1 Pascal = 1 N / m^2 = 1 kg m/s^2 / m^2 = 1 kg / (s^2 m)

Pressure unit = pascal ==> 1 Pa = 1 N/m2 = 1 Newton / meter squared.

Weight unit = Newton (weight is a force)

Force unit = Newton

Pressure is measured in pascals (Pa).

Weight is a force, so it is measured in the same units as force. The unit of force is the newton (N).

1. the si unit of weight is 'newton'(N).
2. and even the si unit of force is 'newton'(N).
3. the si unit of pressure is ' newton per square metre '
( N/msquare or pascal) .

pressure is measured in pascals, Pa, for short or lbs / sq ft. Weight is a force and is therefore measured in newton meters which, on earth is approximately 9.8 Nm per kilo.
