oh yeah! you can also slice it long ways and dip it in a beaten egg,sprinkle it well with like Italian breadcrumbs fry in oil till golden brown put on a plate and drizzle with a marinara sauce.I like the Paul Newman sauces and I add a teaspoon of vinegar to the sauce while heating it up..its a nice appetizer.
