1) Formula you use (or breastfed): Breastfed (expressed milk) for 2 mos, Similac advanced w/iron after
2) Diaper Brand: Pampers cruisers
3) Baby Food Brand: Gerber
4) Best toy: Lamaze clutch cube
5) Something that you couldn't have lived without: Boppy pillow
6) Pacifier (if used): Gerber Nuk
7) Car seat brand: Chicco key fit (till 22 lbs) now using Britax convertable (outgrew other one)
8) Favorite Clothing store: BabyGap
9) Favorite store for baby items: Target
Now just a few questions:
1) If you are using a pacifier is it the kind they gave your child at the hopsitol, and would they take any other pacifier?
Yes, it is the kind given at the hospital. I had bought several kinds prior to having the baby, but once he had gotten used to the gerber nuk he'd been given at the hospital I bought new ones.
2) When did your child first sleep through the night? (if not sleeping through the night how old is the child now?) At two months.
3) As a mom what is the hardest thing you have had to deal with?
My son had to have major surgery about 3 weeks ago on his skull. Dealing with this by far outweighed all the things I previously had thought were hard.
4) If you could have changed one thing what would it have been?
I would have put a lot more money aside into a savings account so that the time I spent out of work on FMLA time (unpaid leave) would have been easier. Money was tight for a while and it would have been nice to have had one less thing to worry about.
Anything else you would like to add would be great. This is a debate.
Being a parent is the most wonderful, most rewarding experience of my life, but I strongly believe that had it happened 4 or 5 years ago it would have been so much harder. I am very glad we waited a while until we were more stable. You'll never have enough money, but at least we were more stable and understood the world a little better than if we'd jumped into parenthood earlier. (my husband and I are now 28 and have been together since 18)

9) Favorite store for baby items: Target/Walmart/Once upon a child
Now just a few questions:
1) If you are using a pacifier is it the kind they gave your child at the hopsitol, and would they take any other pacifier? No, he'll pretty much take any. I use Nuk (silicon) our day care provider gives him Nuk brand with the other kind of nipple
2) When did your child first sleep through the night? (if not sleeping through the night how old is the child now?) Randomly, but I think 4 months...he's been sleeping completely through the night since about 9 months now
3) As a mom what is the hardest thing you have had to deal with? Working and sending him to daycare....I wish I could stay home, but at this time finances don't allow it.
4) If you could have changed one thing what would it have been? How we handled visitors and sleeping when he was born....He was the first grandchild on both sides...by the time visitors stopped coming (1 month)...he wouldn't sleep if he wasn't held. I would have had him sleep in his crib more often, even with visitors, it was a very hard thing to teach him when we got to that point.
