Yes, Amish Paradise is by Weird Al. It was a parody of Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio. You can find Amish Paradise from his album Bad Hair Day.
Coolio wasn't happy about Weird Al parodying his song because he didn't get notified. (Weird Al got the permission from the record company, not from Coolio.) Weird Al offered Coolio royalties to the song and a few years ago (or mabye it was last year), Coolio publically forgave him (by helping him sign autographs).

Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise". Coolio got really mad, because he'd meant for it to be a serious song. Weird Al tried to apologize, and Coolio reluctantly accepted, but there's definitely no love lost between the two of them. Coolio sampled Stevie Wonder's "Pastime Paradise" on "Gangsta's Paradise".

He wasn't mocking a song he was mocking a rap ( big difference) the funny thing is this, when the rapper heard weird Al doing armish paradise he got pissed, but isn't that what rappers do all the time, rip off guitar licks and progressions from real musicians.

"Amish Paradise" is a parody of "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio which is a parody, in itself of, "Pastime Paradise" by Stevie Wonder. Al gave credit to Coolio and Stevie Wonder but Coolio didn't give credit to Stevie Wonder, which he should have.

He's not mocking Gangster's Paradise. That song mocks itself. He was trying to make it better
