I'm confused about what my friend thinks of me. I've known him properly for about three months, and we generally hang around in a group. Sometimes I get the feeling he likes me. He looks at me and smiles at me a lot. He often sits next to me. If I'm talking to other people he often seems to be listening to what I'm saying, and sometimes joins in with the conversation, commenting on what I've said. He'll remember things I've said to him, or things I've said when he's around from weeks before. He'll always comes over and talk to me when he gets the chance, and sometimes when I'm talking to other people he'll hang around me, as if he wants to talk to me but doesn't have the chance to. He's generally quite shy, and doesn't give much away, so it's hard to tell what he's thinking. What signs should I be looking for?

Sounds like you're getting signals. Why don't you ask him out?

Why don't you just touch his hand? If he pulls away, that would suggest he doesn't want physical contact,& you make some excuse, so you don't get embarrassed.
If he just sits there & smiles, or if he grabs your hand, I'd say that was pretty positive.

I guess that the boy likes you however he doesn't seem to have the courage to express it to you so its better that you make the first move and try something REALLY SPECIAL on 14th FEb. Best of Luck!!

keep speaking this guy. he could be still checking you out or he could be shy. Ask him out for tea coffee or just out for lunch just you and him as friends and see where this can go. Don't rush things. Don't drink any alcohol this could lead to mix signals. for fisrt time out alone. Goodc Luck !!!
