Yeah that type of cable will work; just plug the red and white cables into the output of your cassette deck and the mini jack end into the line in on your computer and you're away. I wouldn't recommend that particular cable though, use gold plated connections. These may cost a little extra, but you want to get the audio quality as good as possible when you record it to your pc otherwise it will never be good quality as a digital file. I'd also recommend cleaning the tape heads before you start recording as this will further ensure a good quality analog to digital conversion of your music. Good luck and i hope this helps.

Not too sure about the connection to the PC but the two cassette ones are OK for a "Hi-Fi" type cassette players output.

yeah but it depends on your video card
your cassette player probably has an rca (left& right for yellow/white + red) or a mini jack.

if you video card has mini input then both ends should have mini or a mini to stereo rca.

as long as your cassete has two audio outputs ( white and red ) and your pc has a audio ( 3.5mm plug ) input then yes.

If your cassette player only has one audio output then all you need is a " dubbing audio " cable. Phillips do them for a tenner.
