I'm running Vista Home Premium...I saw an artice where someone upgraded his E1705 Notebook's GFX card But I dont know if I can do that same. I just want to increase my Vista Expierence.
Heres a link to the article...http://www.legitreviews.com/article/349/1/

What card can and or if I can add to my notebook? I'm looking for 256mb memory instead of my 128 mb card I have now.

I dont believe it is "Molded" on the mother board....if you go to that link I had posted earlier it shows the "video card module" able to be taken out....but that is on a E1705 i have a E1505 and I'm wondering if it is the same.....I just dont wan to take the computer apart.

One more thing because when I built my laptop you have a choie of the 2 different video cards.....

128MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1300 HyperMemory™ [add $49 or $2/month1] ( WHICH I HAVE NOW)
OR
256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™ [add $99 or $3/month1]
Dell Recommended for an enhanced Windows Vista experience

And when you build a E1705 you have a choice of a
256MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1400 HyperMemory™
OR
256MB NVIDIA® GeForce™ Go 7900 GS

Now My question is if I can upgrade my E1505 to the ATI X1400 I'm wondering if i can stup up further to the NvIDIA GO 7900 which Is much better.

You cant do that.

The gfx card in a laptop is soldered and integrated with the motherboard.

But if your laptop has an EXPRESS slot, you can try the Asus XG.

Only if you bought it with a video card in the first place (as opposed to onboard video). If you did, then you can swap it out for a newer card. If you didn't...and configured it with onboard video (for ex. Intel's GMA 950), then you won't be able to because there won't be a slot on the board for a video card.

You can upgrade it...you will need to get the card shown on this Ebay page (the auction has ended already):
