I have voted for third party candidates, often. I feel my vote is wasted when I vote for a person with whom I do not agree, and so much of what the Dems and Reps. stand for is just wrong.
The political philosophy that makes the most overall sense is that of libertarianism.
the first site below is for the US Libertarian Party, and the second is one that talks about libertarianism in general, not just politics.

No 3rd. party will raise $500 million. Get real. In order to advance any agenda you need to win elections. Elections are not about the people who run any longer. They are about money and power. GW Bush proves that point. Hillary will raise the $500 million easy and a Clinton/Edwards win will give Democrats 8 years in control of the White House. They will need far longer than that to fix all the harm done America by Bush and the Republicans. BTW, In 2000 in Ohio Nader got 114,482 votes. Gore got 2,117,741. Gore won Ohio.

I would go third party but right now the 3rd party backs up the Democratic party so that would stop me. If one could be created that took the best of both parties it could work.Only thing is they don't have the money to back them up.

i would vote for a third party candidate only if they were proven worthy of the office and had the experience and the common good at heart i think in certain elections the third party just hurts the Democrat ticket and lessens their chances of winning my sister always votes for the third party even if she has no idea who this person is and when we have such close elections like last time it only hurts not helps

Having two parties that bicker and fight so much hinders our progress. Countries with alot of strong parties have poor government because they can never come to an agreement much less get anything done. Two is enough. I couldn't stomach any more.

i'm superb there with you. human beings, regrettably, it form of feels, are afraid to vote outdoors their social gathering bounds for worry of the "different guy" stepping into place of work. i've got been balloting outdoors of the common Republican/Democrat parameters for somewhat now. needless to say, my adult adult males don't get elected, yet I stay balloting this form in hopes that individuals could have somewhat extra braveness via balloting for the main suitable and not the social gathering. the two biggins' are merchandising us out as they take turns screwing the yank human beings each and every time they bypass to place of work. it rather is time for a transformation, and time to get those pocket-crammed sell-outs out of place of work.
