What do I have to do on an Apache server to redirect all www domain requests to non www request.?

For Example, if the user comes to

www.example.com

he/she/it is automatically redirected to:

example.com

this is on Linux/Apache set up.

I think what you need to do is set up a virtual host in the apache.conf file.
