Try booting it up in safe mode and see if it stays up. If it does - run some diagnostics and try to determine why it's failing in normal mode. Hit F8 while booting to go into safe mode.

We need more details. When you say it is crashing, are you getting an error message? If so, what does it say? Also, IBM's have a built in backup/restore application. If you have backed up your system recently, press the blue button and restore your system. If you haven't well back it up once you get it running again. But in the meantime give us more details about the problem.

If its crashing then perform a databackup and then diagnose the computer. If you are new to PCs then you might want a tech to check it out but make sure you have backed up all important data. Crashing PCs can be because of Hardware issues (harddrive, memory?) or viruses, system errors and more..

try to open it in safe mode, if safe mode dosent work out u have to install it again. if os not installing ur hdd is corrupted replace it
