Volunteer. Find an organization close to your heart (kids, animals, etc.) and get in contact with a related organization to ask what you can do to help; they're ALWAYS looking!

Volunterism is always a good thing to have on a resume as it shows that you care about others and don't mind giving your time for little or no pay.
If volunteer positions aren't available, any job you can get is infinitely better than having nothing on your resume. Also, if you know what your college/career path will be after high school, try to get a job in that area, that will show people who will be viewing your resume that you have goals and destinations in life.

Find a volunteer opportunity. Work at some job (even slinging grease is better than nothing and it gives you money). Just don't put down playing on your new PS3 as a "job". :)
