For some reason that question was deleted so here it really is: "Tyranny and anarchy are never far asunder"....I have an idea to what it means but I am not entirely sure, any help would be great. Thanks, Katie.

It suggests that when political authority and political stability rest on the absolute control of one person you have a situtation where if that person is removed chaos ensues. Case in point: Saddam and Iraq.

I don't agree with that statement, but he's trying to say that tyranny will lead to anarchy eventually. And, similarly anarchy will lead to tyranny.

Revolts kick out the tyrants, but the result is anarchy. Then, to control anarchy, a tyrant rises from the mobs and the cycle starts all over again.

Again, i dont believe this, but that's what he's saying.

The miss use of power,single act of whole system of goverment under tryant, or the chaotic state resulting from the overthrow of government is not far apart. We will be living asunder.
