Polar Bears have thick coats used to keep body heat in, and the cold out. If the temperatures rise they could over heat. They'll also find it more difficult to hunt for food and die.

Polar Bears' bodies are made so that they NEVEr lose any heat. There are perhaps one to twhree SMALL spots in body where they lose heat, minutely. That is why you will see them walk very slowly during their summertimes - it is to not overheat. They of course overheat VERY quickly. So when they hunt during summer times it is quite difficult as they have to move slowly and by the time they get to let's say the water where the seals etc just came with their babies, they are long gone. Thei hair is also NOT white, but translucent - it seems white to us. A polar bears skin is also pitch black - THAT is to attract and preserve heat. I just happen to see the program POLAR BEAR BATTLEFIELD this weekend on National Geographic channel.

because the global warming causes the glaciers/ice fields to melt leaving the bears stranded with no food & less hunting ground. As the warm airs arrive earlier every year because of global warming the bears have less & less time hunt and gain pre hibernation weight.

polar bears feed on seal pups that are under the ice sleeping. as the ice retreats due to global warming polar bears are finding it harder to find food and resorting to swimming far out into the ocean, the polar bears are then greatly at risk from drowning. also as polar bears become more desperate they are forced to attack larger more dangerous prey such as walruses.

Polar bears hunt by waiting at the seals breathing holes in the ice. When there is no ice, they can't hunt and they starve.

Because if global warming destroys their natural habitat, which is frozen tundra and ice, then they will DIE. Pretty good reason not to like global warming, I would think!

Polar Bears depend on the ice for survival. From catching their food to living.. Their coat is so thick that they properly will get overheated and die...

They love it. They can't wait for some lib scientist to start screwing around with test equipment up at the north pole. Its so much easier than trying to hunt seals.
