Fear of being WEAK! They were raised take hold of the situation and be strong. Show no emotion. Girls cry, boys don't. If boys cry, they are weak, they are girls! This was told to them as children, and as a child, they believe this. If they were not taught this, then they would be very emotional
My mother raised my brother and I. No father figure. And i see my brother very open w/his wife, shed tears, etc... He was never taught that close minded ideology.

Men hold a certain guard in their life and they feel if they show emotions just a little bit that guard will come down of them being a man. They feel they have to be strong , the back bone, independant, don't want to be called a punk if one tear come out of their eye, and don't want to be considered feminine. They feel that communicating is gushy and for women only so they take the conversation as a whatever type of thing and keep going on as if nothing happened at all.

Every man has a little female in them from birth. But most are just not willing to give in to that side. The overly masculine male is not truly rough and tough but more egotistical than anything. Some men would rather be open and honest and allow their feeling to emerge and be more of a whole person, in many it's strictly upbringing to blame. I cry like a baby at funerals or may even tear up at a sad thought and my feminine quality's will at times show themselves yet I am no girl and have no homo tendencies. SGRS

Men are taught and conditioned to be very hard and cold. Therefore when it comes to expression, it is very difficult for them. Men are just a totally different makeup than women, their hormones are totally screwed up .

they are suposed to ,
they are macho
Warriors dont snivvel
and to betray weaknesses ,makes warriors vulnerable
we were beaten ,at school ,with a bamboo stick with a metal point ,if we cried,when i was a kid

they want others to think that they're not weak..they like being independent..mayb thats y..just a guess..im nt a guy
