my sink in my utility room wont drain.we are kinda puzzled we thought it was clogged or frozen cuz of the cold here in ny but we tried drano,took the pipe apart(when the pipe was off it would drain),held a blow dryer underneath,and let an electric heater clow on it.nothing works.any suggestions what it could be or how to fix it?

The drain might be blocked futher down. You can rent a pipe snake. You remove the p-trap and head south from there. The guy at the rental place can show you how to use the snake.

If that drain has been used to dispose of organic matter (hair clippings, food waste, etc.), you may have built-up some sludge in the pipe. There is a product, called "Drain Care," that uses powdered enzymes to eat away at the gunk, without harming the pipes. Follow directions on package. It is non-toxic and easy to use.

It will need to be Snaked out by a plumber or you can buy a snake at the hardware store. Drano is not the way for any clogged pipes.

Try a plunger first if that don't work try a drain auger you can get one at any hardware or probably at WAL MART...
