A large part of the current flag is the Scottish Saltire. If Scotland left the union would you like to see the same flag without the blue or something totally different?

Wales got the best flag...RED DRAGON..looks really impressive
...better than a mere cross...lots of flags got those.

The saltire was the flag of Scotland before the union, so it would most certainly be used again in an independent country.

Even if Scotland did leave the union, which would sadden me, I think we should keep the Flag.
We'd still be the UK, just without one of the four countries, and that flag is a symbol of Britains history and heritage and greatness
Or mayke we could replace the blue with some proper Welsh representation, a half white half green background, I think a wholly white background would be too similar to St George's cross.

I would like the lion rampant one, I don't know why I just think it looks better.
Plus the St Andrew's flag- apparently he didn't even set foot in Scotland, it was all a myth, so I don't see the point-
And Scotland isn't Christian anymore (although it is technically) the majority of people are either atheist or from about a million different cultures so why should we have a Christian flag?

White St. Andrews cross against a blue background most likely as it has been. Despite the best efforts of the SNP Scotland will probably always be a part of the UK.

What if Scotland left the UK - and you were Scottish and disagreed - could you still be British and proud of it if you liked ?
