I mean, anytime ANYONE dies, it's sad for someone. Not for the person who dies, who, depending on your beliefs, either goes to a better place, starts fresh, or ceases to exits entirely, therefore having no idea that he or she died. But, yeah, it's sad for people who miss the person.

But are we really so lame as to sincerely MISS a celebrity? I mean, she/he didn't know you existed. You never chatted with him/her. You didn't have frequent friendly visits that are now going to cease. So why is it such a big deal?

A celeb is just like anyone else, they live and then they die. The press are the ones hyping up these folks to "god like" status. When John Wayne died did the sun fail to rise the next day?

The death of Anna Nicole is just like any other person, a loss to her friends and family.
