You opinion counts. Ask your doctor for a different specialist or speak to your insurance company and ask for a specialist. Don't go to a Dr that you feel uncomfortable with.

Call your regular doctor and tell the nurse or doctor that the urologist that he sent you to was very unprofessional and you would like to see another urologist. Also, I wouldn't trust him, since he didn't even use medical terminology.

That's weird that the hospital emergency room sent you home. My mother-in-law had the same problem and they were better than that at the hospital. Just call your primary care physician and DEMAND to see another urologist. I had to keep calling constantly until I got somewhere when my son needed a specialist. It worked! Sometimes you have to be rude to get what you want, even though it shouldn't be that way.

I hope you feel better soon! Oh, and anyone who says you're being too "emotional" has been lucky enough to never have a kidney stone for 2.5 months. Hello! It hurts and it stops you from living your normal life.

stones hurt honey i feel so bad for you.2 1/2 months of suffering is too long.if you cannot pass the stone all they have to do is take a lazer and break the stone up and you will pass it in the form of gravel.the procedure is called lithotripsy.while they are playing games drink mega amounts of fluids and keep the stome moving do not let it stay in one place.push it out.a 2 mm stone should be passable.it will hurt though honey i wont lie to you.the sooner its over the better off you will be.if you do not like the urologist demand another doctor it is your right.

I would ask to be reffered to a diffrent specialist in your medical group. SOunds like they are not giving you the care you need. But if there is an emergency .. go to the ER.. in the long run you might be able to sue the doc if he has not treated your illness in a improper way.

saying he will check your privates is not uncommon, it is a proffesional term that doctors are told to use in med school. so dont take offense, there was none meant by it as almost all doctors say it. go into the ER, that is all that you can do. go every day if you have to, but if they are turning you away with nothing but "come back this day" then you should try to see if your insurance covers another health care provider in your area.

Your urologist thinks you are stupid (that's why he doesn't use proper medical terminology) and he doesn't take your pain seriously (that's why he didn't give you pain medication).

He's kind of a jerk and you need to see a new specialist.

Remember, wnen you see a doctor, YOU are the client and they work for you - if you aren't satisfied, find another doctor!!!

honestly i think they are unprofessional. but go to the emergency room. and ask ur doctor to refer u to some one else and tell him why. some places tend to become very unprofessional, people forget their job is to make it a comfortable for u as well, change urologist immediately

UGH, "Privates" sounds like they are talking to a two year old. I would call your regular physician, and tell them what happened. Perhaps they can help, or find another specialist.

YOu sound like you are behaving in an inaproprite manner to me
Sure you might be in pain but saying you dont like this doctor is really showing that you are emmotional.Take another trusted person with you when you go to the doctor.
If you are in that much pain you should willing go to a specialist.
ITS YOUR CALL
