Okay well, I have two pc games, madden '06, which locks up after just a little play time, and call of duty 2, which does the same thing. Recently i downloaded Madden on here and it kept freezing, even with a patch, so i deleted it, then i downloaded call of duty too and it did the very same thing!
is something wrong with my pc? Maybe the video card?

Your problem may be on your video card.Check the requirements of the game and see if your PC or something else on your PC is missing.If you see that the problem continues see if you have a virus in your PC.

There are a number of possible problems, not just one unfortunately. Here are some possibilities:
-Computer CPU is overheating (open your case, and run a fan towards it while you try to play the game to resolve this)
-Video Drivers need updated
-DirectX needs updated
-Not enough RAM
Those are the usual suspects, and I would try that first.

I had similar problems. I opened my case and saw that the video card fan had stuck and the card was overheating. I got an extra slot fan to cool the card and the problem went away.

Yo he comprado de muchas veces ordenadores en los sitios web y siempre he encontrado la mejor calidad, el ultimo ordenador es para una amiga, la verdad es que parece especial creado para ella porque tiene un disco duro con una excelente capacidad de almacenaje y va bastante rápido por su gran memoria y su buen procesador, muy buena compra sin duda.
