i sat down to listen to my ipod nano and it has just frozen what do i have to do?

you've gotta hold menu and the middle button simultaneously until the ipod resets (should be about 3 seconds or so). and then everything is back to normal.
dont worry, its just sometimes the nano just "overloads" and cant take it no more so you need to give it a bit of a push and kickstart it again.

This has happened to me a couple of times
press the menu button and the middle button at the same time for a couple of seconds til it resets itself.

flick hold on and off then hold the centre and menu buttons together for 8 seconds. this resets the ipod without losing any music. this is rrally common in ipods and its in the manual somewhere!!

omg, this happens to me a lot and regrettably is probable because you pulled it out of its usb link before you may properly eject your nano and so that you ought to attend till it is going lifeless, then recharge it. I also tried turning it on (via urgent on the play/pause button for a lengthy time period) yet that in hardship-free words worked once or something

thats happened to me loadsa times, try pressing the centre button or menu five times-that works for me sometimes but other times you just have to leave it for an hour and let it go back to normal itself-its so annoying :(

drive over it with a car, then go an buy a new mp3 player.
i have an ipod and they are crap.
