creating wealth or becoming financially independant, the two most common responses seem to be "When I win the lotto" or "Maybe when my rich uncle passes, he will leave me money." or other sayings to that effect? Also very few people talk about building a business or finding a business opportunity where their efforts can compound and duplicate? Why can't people see beyond a job?

Also keep in mind, there are other types of business models out there that may not resemble a job and have a 6-7 figure income opportunity and are not scams.

Also, I don't think people realize that people that have won in life have failed many, many times to get there. There is only true failure when you settle and stagnate.

I think many people never go for their big dream because of fear of failure, or the lack of knowledge in how to do so. Also, in this day and age when most families have both people working to make ends meet, a regular paycheck is necessary to make ends meet. Few people have the extra money to invest or to let ride until they start to profit. We all seem to get by the best we can these days.

Yes, some people are lazy and don't want to work for it, that's true. But I think it's mostly because alot of people actually don't know how to make money. I'm sure at one time or another, every person in the country has had at least one idea that, if they had persued it, it would have made them rich. The problem is that, once people come up with that idea, they don't know what to do next.

Just because I had a great idea for a movie plot doesn't mean I know how to write a script, or have the connections to get it seen by the right people if I do manage to write it.

Often times success is about effort and perserverance, but sometimes it's just about dumn luck, too. Sometimes no amount of determination can accomplish as much just being in the right place at the right time.

So, people talk about winning the lottery or inheriting money, because that's easy. No special knowledge needed. Just sit back and wait.

First of all, unfortunately, not everyone is imaginative enough to see beyond where they are. And even the majority who can, fail because of poor planning.
I like to play chess; but I'll never be a master at it because I cannot see those moves ahead. I've tried, but it simply won't materialize in my head.
The same type of thinking is true for many who hold down dead end jobs all their lives. They just can't see beyond where they are.

Not many people have any vision at all. They are satisfied with mediocrity to the point of being underachievers. My job changes everyday because I make it happen, you control you and most people are born followers not leaders.
The same goes for church followers, you control your destiny not any God, there may have been initial creation but evolution is responsible for everything we are.
Determination is your lifeblood, If your determined to fail you will, think success and you will have it, a positive attitude is everything, tell yourself your sick and you will be, and there are the facts. SGRS

the lotto and passing away are excuses for lazy people, i agree..
but people dont think about business(against jobs) because evryone is scared of failure..they would prefer to be secure, rather than uncertain & experimental...people dont like to experiment and then have all their troubles for nothing! that probably hinders them
