How many of you have been sexually abused as a child but never said a word about it at all.

I think most people have been at least once. Because it happened to me 3 times by 3 different people.

It happened to me as a child by one person for almost a year. Then as an adult it happened again once. I never told a soul until this year.

Are we taking about molestation or serious rape? Sexual abuse is a pretty huge scope.

Because molestation happens a lot. So you're right when you say most people have been at least one. Problem is, half of them probably doesn't even know that it was wrong. And they just forget over time.

Rape on the other hand, isn't very common. Although I do know a couple of kids who had sadly been raped and they never say a word about it.

I was almost abused when I was 8; It was the son of my babysitter (he was 14). Mum said that I told her about it and that was that. The funny thing is, that although nothing happened, I can't remember any of it.
