The symptoms you describe are not just that of a pregnant lady.
Discharge sore nipples etc can also be signs, (and many women have them) pria to a period. They also sometimes have headaches. It is only the imbalance of hormone change that occurs during the menstrual cycle after all a period means you are ovulating.
You could take some time to actually have a period with bleeding but the signs and symptoms are that of your hormones changing.
I would ask your GP just to put your own mind at rest.
good luck.

Depo Provera is a long term pregnancy inhibitor.

While the usual dosage is one shot every 3 months, the reality is that a majority of women are unable to conceive within 12 months after the intial dose. You body fat percentage does play a factor, as the medication is stored in your body fat. So, the more body fat you have, the longer it takes to get out of your system.

If you weren't menstrating while on Depo Provera, it may take a month or two after the 3 months for it to restart. This is not uncommon.

Depo Provera simulates pregnancy in the body, so your hormones are trying to reassert themselves. That could be while you are feeling different, and why your body is reacting different.

If you have questions about how your body is coming off of Depo Provera, talk to your OB/GYN about it.

Hi there, i was on the depo for 3 years then came off it and it took me 11 months to have my first period again, in my eyes the depo really messes up your system and i would never ever ever ever go on it again, i have now had 6 periods since all of that but i have never had such bad periods in my life (and i started them at 10yrs old) i seem to complain about them more now and i am 18 lol.

The body takes time to adjust after being on the depo you have to remember that you were injecting yourself with loads of hormones and it has gotta take time to get rid of it from your body.

it can take up to 6-12 months for your periods to arrive after comeing off the depo so be patient if you are worried about it then just pop to the dr's and they will explain it all to you x x x

i've been off the depo 4 4 months now, i had symptoms like u, i was told it's just your body getting back to normal with the hormone levels changing. i still haven't had a period yet & have now got a coil fitted.

Coming off of any contraceptive is a bit difficult for your body... your hormones go a bit crazy and swing around while they try and settle down. Just keep waiting... and if you're concerned visit a doctor.

This is something you need to ask your doc. Call him up and ask what to do as it could be months before your period returns as Depo is known to have long term side effects.

Check with your doctor. Just because there is no smell does not mean no infection
