Ok last month I beleive I had my peroid but it was only spotting for 2wks, I called my doctor and they said it's nothing even though they did not see me. My breasts are very sore and they have been since mid January. I know I have been on all types of differents meds lately but I really don't think that's the cause be cause I have had normal peroids the last three months.

Can someone please tell me if I should just call the doctor back and make an appointment or should I just wait until I get my next cycle to see what happens. Husband and I want kids but we are not trying anymore like in the past. I really have no clue as to what to do. I have been getting really bad heartburn as well and being tried more than before.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Well sweet heart if i were you i would go to the doctor .Because you have to keep in mind if you are pregnant and taking medications that could cause some serious harm to the baby and his/her process of development.I'm not trying to scare you I just want to inform you.Now it's normal for women to have irregular periods,Different women have different effects before they get their period/.Some have back pain,or cramping, shortness of breath, tenderness of the nipples or breasts, etc. So go and take a blood test because blood tests are far more accurate than urine. So good luck and God Bless

I would take a home pregancy test right away. if it is positive you'll need to make an appointment with your doctor anyway- and if it is negative it could be false- so make an appoinment no matter what- ask for a blood test to test pregnancy. Your fatigue could be a result of pregnancy but heartburn usually does not start until later in the pregnancy when things are being pushed upwards due to your growing child. Many women spot the first month of pregnancy- I would take a test right awy. Good luck and congratulations if you are pregnant!

Have you taken a pg test yet? That could tell you much sooner if you got pregnant last month than waiting until when you predict your next period to be. If it's positive, then there you go!

if you take it and it's negative, something to consider is hormones. Maybe the meds you've taken have caused an imbalance, or there is an imbalance already there. They can cause all kinds of craziness with the appearance, duration, and other characteristics of your period. Not to mention other pg-like effects like sore breasts, headaches, etc. If you continue to have a strange period, it might be worth your time to get a blood test to see what's going on, your ob/gyn or nurse practicioner can help with that :)

best of luck to you!

Make a pregnancy test at home. It's the first thing I do when in doubt and until now they have always been accurate. Negative tests when my period was late and I thought I was pregnant turned out to be true and this months 2 positive tests (although I was not feeling pregnant) also were true. So you should definitely try that first.

First I would suggest you take a pregnancy test. That's a simple way to confirm of deny your symptoms. Despite what the test says I would make an appointment with the doctor. You know if something is not right with your body. I may be something huge then again it may not be anything at all. Don't take any chances with your health. You only get one body.

Sounds pregnant to me. Go buy a home test, although depending on how "early" it is, it may not show up. I knew I was pregnant with my 2nd child, but the test didn't show positive until I took my 3rd one. For the heartburn, get well acquainted with tums, especially if it turns out that you are preggers.

Certainly take a home test and see what your results are. By now there should be enough of a hormone level to tell you one way or another. But, by your symptoms it sounds like it!

The doctor probably won't want to see you unless you have missed your period completely and have received a positive test.
