No one really knows. There is a lot of speculation as to what were the circumstances leading to her demise. For some, it is curious that Howard K Stern was present when her son died, and also present when she died.
The Broward Sheriff's Office removed 8 bags of evidence and CNN reported that they removed large quantities of prescription drugs.
Her autopsy began at about 9:30am this morning, and a preliminary cause of death might be determined as early as this afternoon.
Mark Steines of Entertainment Tonight was on CNN this morning and indicated that Anna Nicole had attempted suicide about 3 weeks after the death of her son, Daniel. Howard K Stern and a bodyguard found her floating face down in the pool, performed CPR and revived her then. When she did the ET & Insider interviews last week, when she spoke about the death of Daniel she broke down all over again. Mark Steines also revealed that Anna Nicole had had a fever for days and on Tues her fever had been over 105 degrees. The nurse et al had her in an ice bath to bring the fever down, she had something to eat. Wednesday she slipped and fell in the bathroom but the nurse and Howard determined that they did not see any bruising etc, and then Thursday was still a bit feverish, went to have a nap and you know the rest of the story.
It has also come out that she had been very "starved" for love according to psychiatrists and had told Daniel, when he had told his grandmother he loved her, that he could not love anyone but his mother. So the loss of him would have absolutely destroyed her.
She might have tried and succeeded in her suicide attempt this time around. The interview, the illness, the new lawsuit involving Trimspa, the paternity lawsuit on top of everything else might have just been too much. I'll guess we'll find out later

Its could be overdosed or suicide. She has been depressed for a long time after her sons death.
But how could she kill hersetf she had a daughter to look after for. Now, The baby is going to be use for her money.
Im not a really big fan but it is a big shocked.
Well, Im going to follow it up when they find out what happened to her. It could be months to find out. They still working on her sons case.

Please look into reading other posts. There is much speculation, but very little evidence. As stated above, the autopsy is today and should provide a few of the answers, but it will never truly tell the tale of what was happening to her and the circumstances surrounding her death.

Anna Nicole was addicted to methadone. At high doses, methadone slows your body down so much you can stop breathing. If she took cold medicine with methadone, it's very likely she OD'd. Anna also had a drinking problem and has been very depressed lately... I think she committed suicide or OD'd accidentally.

Howard killed her. I think he was trying to keep her medicated to manipulate her long enough until the courts gave her the 400 million dollars (which they did not) and he was just trying to get married to her and then once he had the money, he would OD her.
I think his plan is completely going haywire..I think him killing the son first...make anna go overboard so she will be even more confused.
Someone needs to arrest Howard K. Stern!!

anyone could see the sadness in her eyes even before the death of her son, she was pitiful, she got fans and money, but i don't know why, she lost her soul even before her real death !!
Is it the son of J.Howard Marshall, is it overdose ?? We have to wait to know !!

Howard Stern Murdered her, He probably Killed her son too.
The night before she died he told people that she wasn't feeling well. She has really been out of it since her son died.- He has probably been drugging her.
