This is ridiculous. I have never seen such crap spewed from both sides in all my life. I am a liberal and my best freind is a conservative. When we see something bad on tv, I always say " Damn Republicans", and he says " Damn Democrats", and we move on. The crap spewed on here is ridiculous on both sides. Liberals are not evil baby-killers and Conservatives are not Religious warmongers. If people really believe what they say on here, everyone is in need of some serious therapy. I am very involved in politics, but the world will not come to an end if we end up with another Rep. president, just like the world will not end if a Dem is elected.

You and I agree on one thing for sure. Neither the Democrats or the Republicans are totally right about everything.There has to be some actual listening to what the other side says and think for a moment about what is said.
Both sides have some good ideas and some that really inhale. But to automatically say it's a bad idea bacause it comes from one side or the other is wrong. And some ideas start with good intentions and turn out wrong.
Back off and remember whether or not someone is Democrat or Republican they are both still Americans and there is common ground for agreement. Let's work on that. And God save us all from the extremes of both parties.

Most of it's reaction to others. Also, it's scary what a little anonymity does to a person.
It's a cycle, really... one which many of us are caught in.
A conservative troll uses the anonymity to post an absurd question, which can only be responded to with an absurd response. Which generates more absurd responses in response to the response...
... and the political ideologies get more extreme and sides are drawn.
Yes, we're nuts... but no more nuts than anyone else who's done this in the history of mankind... and no less wrong.
Still, though... liberal or conservative doesn't really matter to me... *but* it'll be a cold day before I let the neo-cons institute fascism here, and they are trying.
Edit: I'd say that to anyone face to face, as well. I just hope the decent Republicans come to their senses soon and take back their party. Let's get some real debate FOR the nation going... not this tripe that's happening now in this country.

Listen here is how you can tell the crazies from the uncrazies.
If they say I am not crazy but boy everyone else has sure got a few screws loose they are nuts.
If they say well the liberals are crazy and insulting and hate filled they are nuts
If they say well the conservatives are crazy and insulting and hate filled they are nuts.
I think it is safe to say that while most of us started out quite sane, the insanity that is Answers has driven many over the edge.
Will we ever return? Who knows? I mean plus it is a really good way to vent your frustration at the other side.

RIGHT ON! I am relatively new to Yahoo Answers. I am truly shocked and sooo disappointed by the immaturity of many of the comments found here. Maybe once every 2 or 3 pages will I find an adult question, comment or observation. This makes me think that many of the people who are on this board are very, very young, very immature, uneducated or under-educated.
I don't know if I will continue here....I do enjoy chatting and really like to read other peoples "take" on things but find the ignorance and the hate-mongering, bad grammar, atrocious spelling to be nothing but irritating. In my opinion, if you can't express your thoughts in a clear and readable format, you are missing something important; education, maturity - something.
Thanks for your observation. I was beginning to think it was just me.......

Give em a break, they are just children trying to find their way in this world...but I agree, the quality of questions and answers here is lacking...when Shiraz (Uno) asks half of the questions on here, it leaves you with no choice but to participate sparingly. You cqan't even ask a good question anymore, as nobody even shows up to answer them. But someon who says 'Republicans BOO, or Democrats BOO' gets 50 answers. So, are you starting a new forum for us Steve? Please?

I personally find it very amusing when I open my email & find one from Yahoo that I have been reported! For what voicing my opinion! People take this stuff way to seriously, like I am offending their mother! This is about freedom of speech I respect yours so respect mine.
So to answer your question I sincerely hope that some people just need more medication!

Most are pecans, but I have seen some almonds and Brazils mixed in. Every once in a while there's a peanut or cashew, but we don't like to talk about that.
