my sister got married (arranged marriage , the family background is very good also the guy seemed loving and passionate) in india and came to US a month back. now after realising that the husband is cheating her, he is having affair with another woman and harrassing her in all the way and knowing that he married her for money or some other reasons she begged him that they can go back to india and start a new life. but he refused al that and the abuse continued . My sister went back to india now with the help of all of us. now we dont know what to do.. the husband is enjoying in america while my sister's life is screwed. How to payback this cheating rascal ? we have filed complaint here inUS and also in india . How can the guy be happily here continuing his sex life with another girl while my siter is facing all the trouble involving divorce and reliving everything when approching cops and lawyers?? is there anyway justice can be done for my little sister??

justice will be done but by god, and god moves in his own time, it may look as if this man is doing well, but when u play with fire eventually u do get burned. revenge will not come by u or members of your family but by the karma that will come to him from what he has done to her. that is just why arranged marriages if it was one do not work, we never get to know the man picked for the person to marry, don't get to make choices. or get to know what they are getting ahead of time. he will get his u just have to believe god and what god says.

You could try contacting a lawyer re the marriage and the money matter. America law doesn't respect arranged mariges and defently not anything like a dowery to my knowledge. They only respect a prenup. You might want to contact imigration or consolate, since it was arranged and a dowery was involved.As a big sis myself I have a few ideas, and as a woman who has had a man cheat, I have more!

Although it may have been Indian customs and culture that got her into a marriage with an untrustworthy man, it might be American law as tthe remedy. An American divorce would afford you sister child support as well as alimony. He will pay for his mistake.
Good luck. Arranged marriage provided for some benefits for both families in the past, but today the beneficial concepts are lost in a modern, global world.

So why would it be important to prove infidelity just to get divorced? If he provides financial security now, then a judge would expect him to provide that after divorce. My feeling is he doesn't have a job and neither do you. He leaves for weeks and doesn't even call home to check on the kids? Great Dad you chose for your children. Call it quits and focus on yourself and your children. File for divorce so you can get an order for child support for the kids and you can start getting your life back on track. Who cares if he's a cheater. He's obviously not a good husband or a good father. Don't waste any more time.

The legal way is file for divorce and sue his butt off for everything he has.
