If your have Windows XP installed on your computer, you can use it's built-in program called "Windows Movie Maker" to create slideshows or movies that can then be uploaded directly to a website from within the program.
Just select the option "send to the web", and your file movie will then be uploaded to the website of your choosing.
Have Fun :)

First you make a video either with a webcam or some better camera. Then you convert the video file into a form that's accepted by youtube.
On the youtube site it says:
"Videos are limited to 10 minutes (unless you're a Director) and 100 MB.
Videos saved with the following settings convert the best:
MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format
320x240 resolution
MP3 audio
30 frames per second framerate "
So it's probably best to convert it to divx.
For that I use VirtualDub and the divx codec from www.divx.com
