When I went to the Opt. to get some contacts and get checked he put some type of iodine in my eyes. It was trippy because my pulpils got really diluted and when i looked into the mirrow it was competely black as if my irises disappeared.

Then he told me light would be pretty bright for a couple of hours and I thought it wouldn't be that bad but when I stepped outside into normal sunlight I was blinded. I don't know why I stupidly drove home because Seriously everything was like a bright light. Slowest driving I've ever had.

Obviously for me I couldn't get it out and waited in misery.

Shattered glass.
(I was reminded of the incident this morning by a friend who recently had an auto accident)
In October of 1980, I was a passenger in a drunk driving accident. If I had not been wearing a seat belt, I would've gone straight through the windshield into a piece of exposed rock at 40 miles per hour. I would've died.
As it was, my head hit the windshield and shattered it, also shattering my eyeglasses. My face was badly cut, and I got some glass in my eyes--I was fortunate not to be blinded.
I had a cut all the way through the side of my mouth. (I mean I could breathe through it!) and serious deep cuts to my forehead and arm.
The scars are still visible, and I still occasionally get terrible stabbing pain in one or both eyes if they get irritated.

Gasoline, it sprayed up out of the carburetor of an engine I was working on. It hurt like hell and I washed the eye with cold water for 1/2 an hour. I didn't go see the doctor but I don't think any damage was sustained.

I know someone who shot a plastic arrow with the suction cup at the end into their son's eye. It went under the eyelid and everything.

For some reason they thought it would be a good idea to play "William Tell" and shoot toys off of the kid's head.

Needless to say the kid was not too thrilled and ran around screaming, DAD YOU SHOT ME IN THE EYE!!! It eventually popped off... and after what seemed to be endless minutes his vision came back, and the father breathed a sigh of relief.

i have heard that laser surgical operation can manage floaters. i have also heard so that you are able to have a healthcare professional ensure that it is your retina detaching. I surely have floaters and that i hate them. they are quite undesirable even as i'm drained, or if i'm in a room with quite white walls. I plan to flow to a watch healthcare professional, yet residing abroad am a touch weary of both eye docs and opticians right here.

Once I was laying down on my bed biting my nails and somehow the nail just fell right in my eye, I was around 12 at that time, my parents had guests for dinner and they all gathered to remove it.

Pinkeye..it was awful..tried Simalsan, but it just made it worse..ended up in the emergency and they put some weird dye in my eye to check for damage (none, thank God) and then gave me antibiotics in the eye and by mouth..I was soooooooooo glad when that cleared up, let me tell you!
