I have digital cable and I want access to all the channels I pay for for recording

I was wondering about this because they sell RJ6 for digital/satellite uses and I was wondering what the difference is.

RG6 is useful for long length connections, like those between a satellite dish and a receiver. The shorter runs are made primarily of RG59, which tend to be lossier than RG6 over longer distances. But, because we're talking a short distance, you don't need to get RG6.
