For the same reason they nod there head at people as they pass by, instead of saying 'hi'. They're too good to actually say a real word, or say anything at all.

I think it is sexy just like all the rest of the words the scottish use, sorry mate but the scots have got the sexiest accent in the world, except glasgow lol.

I don't know but another thing that's annoying is seeing people like Jack Sprat on Yahoo!Answers leaving idiotic answers like that one.
