Clouds are formed from Water using Heat (through sun) and blown away by Wind in space (sky). They are destined to meet Earth one day.
The life consists of these Five Elements - (1) Water, (2) Fire or Heat, (3) Air, (4) Sky and (5) Earth - material.

Every living thing needs all these 5 basic elements. So, Cloud gives a demonstration of Life Cycle.

A cloud is a product of the atmosphere and it changes all the time. It may be white & fluffy like cotton & just drift silently across a blue sky. It may be dark & grey, foreboding, threatening rain, blackening the sky. It takes many different shapes and it can be a source of imagination & dreams (I saw one once that looked like a tiger with its jaws open, darting across the sky over a country road). It can be anything or nothing. It dissolves into nothing. It is both real & illusory. It is a miracle of nature. A wonder. One of God's masterpieces. Yes I suppose in that way it is like life...

A cloud is collection of vaporized particles, in our case, hopefully water. I do not see the connection to "the meaning of life" except that it could be a metaphor for our collection of life experiences, which as whole is an individuals meaning of life.
It depends what meaning of meaning you mean, for example, to put meaning into ones life, one Persues positive paths and can see magic images in their clouds. Others see their cloud as an opaque blotch in the sky and usually go through life not being able to see the forest for the trees.

The truly gifted can fortell the weather from clouds and the gifted in life can see the clouds of destiny on the horizon and try to warn humankind for the common good, usually to fail like Icarus, by being confronted with ignorance, apathy and deceit.

A cloud exemplifies ones journey through life. Constantly changing to deal with it's surrounding atmosphere while caught-up in life's ever flowing force.

To shade and moisten the Earth, it is the result of the Sun sucking up moisture from rain, building it up in a cloud and raining down upon the Earth again and again and again. It is our free and natural perpetual RECYCLER of moisture.

The meaning of life is to exist and spread your grain of wisdom and love among offspring and friends so they can remember you with a happy smile after you die ...

A cloud illustrates the circulation of water as any living creature illustrates the circulation of life.
Life is CHANGE - life is eternal - life appears in different forms.
