Not me, but my sister just became a widow on Dec 31st, she is trying to deal with it by keeping busy, work and kids etc. the worst time for her is evenings and weekends......family understanding and love will help her cope with it.

I was a young widow at 27 . My husband at the time took his own life and it was VERY unexpected. I took it hard BUT this many years later i am now remarried to a wonderful man . At times i miss my first husband and wish we were friends and that he could see my family and meet my new husband and see how well and happy I am living today but life goes on you know. Just alot of painful memories and no closure in some areas but i guess this is normal in susicidal deaths and how they affect the families and the surviving spouses.

yes i was a widow at 33 and still miss him but I am now 46 and have remarried . I often miss him and wish I could see him one more time to let him know that I am okay and have a wonderfull husband . The kids are okay and are grown now . I threw myself into my work and doing the church thing and in time the pain passes and so will the grief . good luck honey .

My first marriage, I was 21 and married my high school sweetheart. He was an AF pilot and died less than a year after our marriage. It was very unexpected. Church and moving back to family helped, but the grieving process took awhile.

I lost my husband when I was 22, am 27 now. He was 25 and died in a helicopter crash during an army training exercise. I dealt with it by becoming a workaholic and devoting all my time to my career so I had little free time to think about it.
