no contest is an admission to the facts in the case,but it can't be used against you in a civil case.
not guilty is denying the facts of the case.

Plea of guilty means you are admitting guilt. No contest means you are not challenging the charge but also not admitting guilt. Both pleas are used in sentencing and neither one changes the type of sentencing. However, if you plead no contest to a particular charge, that plea can't necessarily be used against you if someone sues you for negligence in a civil matter later on because you never admitted guilt.

Not Guilty means you are going to fight to win. No Contest means you are Not fighting but not admitting guilt, but it has the same effect as pleading or being found guilty
