If she's not a prankster then shes sad ...First Send her flowers & a letter saying for whatever I did I do apologize. Then ask what you did & how this can be resolved between us & send her more flowers or roses ! Give her space at a motel. (expect one or two weeks) Keep doing this and convince someone she trusts to talk to her. Apparently the husband has done something to upset her extremely & this may be high indication shes sick of him.
But don't give up and keep communicating by writing & flowers and convince someone to talk to her for you as a mediator.
If your wondering about belongings: Also get a lawyer if she gives no response in two week as she could want a divorce. If she does then hire a lawyer to petition the personal property be returned somehow.

The husband should break the door open. It's his own house, so it's not illegal to do so. He should then calmly inform his wife that if she does it again, he will do the same thing again, and that she needs to handle matters between them in a mature way. Finally, he should call a locksmith to repair what he broke, and then give his wife a key to this even-newer lock, saying, "Here is your copy. Apparently, when you changed the locks, you forgot to do me this courtesy."

Depends on the background of the situation. And probably what state you live in but, the husband should hire an attorney, file for divorce, get the proper paperwork listing what personal property is in her possession that belongs to him, take the police with him and they will allow him to retrieve what is on the list. I must say again FILE FOR DIVORCE, let her go. When a woman get's to the point of changing the locks on the house, she has ALREADY changed the key to her heart as well.

Why is she keeping the husband out? Is he abusive? Does he have his name on the house? Sell the house and get his share.

Ok you say "the" wife, and "the" husband. Which sorta gives me the feeling that this has nothing to do with YOU, and if that's the case. YOU do nothing, and be glad you still can get in your house!

If this is your wife you are speaking of, you get some cash out of the bank and spend the night in a hotel trying to figure out what you did. Give her some time to cool off before comfronting her and see what she says.

Call the police and get back in. She can't legally lock you out, especially if your name is on the lease/deed.
