Do you think they made them that shape so you would "pop" more of them in one sitting? Are you a nibbler or a whole popper? Are you a double popper? Do you lay it on your tongue and suck off the flavor before you chew? What is your favorite flavor?

Pringles.
I used to LOVE them. I nibbled. I nibbled a whole can in a sitting, sometimes.

The I started working at a 'tater grader' one summer off from school. This is a place where employees, most often high school kids, stand by a conveyor belt and pick out the bad potatoes as they go by, not allowing any bad ones to get into the trucks. The place I worked sent 'taters only to potato chip companies- others send them for other purposes. One day, my supervisor came up and made an announcement. He showed us several potatoes that we would normally pick out for bad spots. He said, if it looks like this one, or this one, or this one, just let it go on by.

Turns out we were sending them to Pringles, which has lower standards for potatoes than most chip companies.

Now, this doesn't mean you're eating rotten potatoes if you eat Pringles. It just means that they cut off any bad spots, then grind up what's left and form it instead of slicing and frying like most companies. But still. It means your chip may have been made from part of a potato that had some grossness to it.

And I haven't been able to eat them since.

Pringles at the instantaneous are not potato chips. by technique of defenition, potato chips are made out of slices of potato. Pringles fall into the potato crisps type as they are made out of mashed potatoes. i like them both, in basic terms relies upon on my mood.

I like the original, and I eat 2 at a time inverted so it is a challenge. I guess it's my way of rebelling about the fact that they made them to fit your mouth.

It's no coincidence! Its a conspiracy!
I eat one at a time, saltiest side down, two bites for each Pringle. I savor the Pringle poppin' time. (=

well this is a long and labourous process, sometimes i'm in the mood for the whole chop chop, other times a bit of savouring goes a long way, but mostly the olde nibble technique is what i likes
