I hear that a group of women are suing GEICO because there are no portrayals of female cavemen, or 'cavewomen' if you will. What's the story there?

Lawsuit Update: It seems Geico has won the lawsuit, succesfully claiming that the Cavemen were Neanderthals.
Neaderthals and modern humans have common ancestors, and while genetically similar, Neanderthals are considered a separate species. Therefore, since no humans were involved, there could be no discrimination, unless you wanted to allow discrimination suits for dogs, cats, and every other animal out there.
Geico won the case, but it is being appealed.

I cannot wait for the first commercial showing a caveman clubbing the cavewoman over the head and dragging her by the hair.
You think that the gays hated the snickers commercial - I guess that women should be careful of what they wish for.................

another case of others being to sensitive they are making fun of being a caveman. if they started off making fun of cavewomen or with cavewomen we would be seeing a suit filed that they are demeaning women especially considering to be accurate the woman of cave times would be a gatherer no hunting with babes in or around her at one time or another as well as technically she would need to be a housewife type as well (ooooooh that will get fems in a bunch) I say let it be if they do a cavewoman let them and get over being to sensitive take a joke for what it is (as long as it isn't really over the top or flaggrantly racial) yes set some boundaries but learn to laugh at the joke as well cause being a sour puss all your life and seeing real and imagined slights against people is a very unhappy life don't get mad if a good looking woman or man wears something more revealing than you would get yourself to the position that you can wear it as well don't get mad at a joke make sure they are really trying to hurt someone before you get mad

Their are more lawyers in the US than the rest of the world combined! You can sue anybody for anything and probably win something. Most politicians were lawyers before becoming politicians, so don't expect any tort reform. "What a country" as Borat would say.
