previous employer owes me 10 weeks back pay , also owes me a w2.

have you tried actually contacting the previous employer? iif no luck there. try the labor dept.(state/county level). me, i would sue him in small claims court.if you win,he'll have to pay the filing fee. possibly some interest, and maybe some punitive damages. but this could take a while and wont help you ith your w2. your tax preparer and the irs has the docs you need to file without an actuall w2

you might need to get a lawyer i was going to say just use your last paycheck but they still owe you 10 checks

retain a lawyer and have your lawyer send them a certified letter of intent.

and of course, notify the IRS

call the IRS or write them and ask for a statement they have those on file then you can do your taxes.
