Ovulex is an herbal pill, not regulated by the FDA, it does not cause ovulation. If you know you are not ovulating, your doc will give you a prescription for Clomid (clomiphene) which is a regulated fertility drug that does induce ovulation. I am taking it and it works. It is only available througha prescription from your doc and he shopuld monitor you throughout the process( ultrasounds to check for cysts, progesterone tests to confirm ovulation)

I had bought Ovulex previously thinking it would help me ovulate and boost my fertility so i could get pregnant well it did not work, and yes it is mainly used to regulate your periods which that didnt even work for me..i didnt get one period the whole time i was on it....some has said it worked for them and other says it did not help in any case. So with my personal experience i would have to say it is a waste of time and money, you could send it back and get a full refund if you decide to send it back...Their are other choices out their anywhere from medication to natural herbs ect..Some great herbs that work wonders with woman trying to get pregnant is vitex, rep raspberry, red clover. Their all extracts...Mind you these herbs take time to work so if you do try it out give it about 1-3 months to start kicking in you will see a major improvement. These are located in your nearest health food store good luck and lots of baby dust

I would not tak e anything your doctor doesn't suggest. You could be doing more damage than good. Do you know for sure you are not ovulating? You won't need to take anything but a multivitamin if you are ovulating. Definately talk to your doctor.
