It' be great if he came over to the U.S. And I totally agree that he should come to DC United.

I just checked out the article, and you maybe right. There's a lot to look at too. I think Zidane is past his prime but it would be good for the not so popular mls. Considering Beckham just signed with LA as well. Then again this could be a short term trend, I don't think most european players would sell out like that to their beloved fans.

I would love to see him play, but he wouldn't be able to play in here. There is no player in the league that comes close to even tie his shoes. The only way to make it interesting would be if he plays by himself against an all star team of MLS which would include Beckham. I still think that Zidane would win.

Hes not going to the mls after beckham signed there were all sorts of rumors going around that other players were going to be coming as well. Just because he was in new york and went to a knicks game doesnt mean that he going to be joining the mls

Playing in the mls offers a couple of things for older international stars -
1 - lengthened playing career
2 - less attention from the public on the street
3 - potential to impact an infant league for years to come
4 - US is still an untapped market
5 - less critical press coverage - no microscope

He went to authentic Madrid to play with Euro, dollar, GBP etc etc those were Perez's best friends that confident Figo that money are better major than delight. Barca offered Figo for €2M and purchased him to authentic Madrid for €60M, i imagine that both part were pleased with this transfers and it really is better than glaring who were given the better effective deal the following. Figo continues to be the most expensive participant Barca ever bought.

If that's true, he'd probably do more for MLS than Beckham will. I doubt it will happen.
