it was really disappointing that they lost to portugal and in the last 10 minutes but in second half portugal was better and i wonder what went wrong with most brazilian players in this game espicially in second half it was not the same kaka who scored the amazing goal against argentina and not the same Elano either and i wonder what is wrong with fred .. but iam sure that Dunga will pay attention in the next friendly game and i guess that he should look for another brazilan stars there r some players that he chose are not the best in Brasil ..
btw thanx 4 picking my answer the best one in ur last question i really like ur questions a lot so keep asking :)

To give credit where it is due is vital in football. Yes, Scolari is a great manager but I do not believe that the success or failures of a team are entirely due to the manager.... NO WAY !!! Tactics are discussed, and decided by the manager but ON THE FIELD,,,, on the spot, it is up to the players to decide what to do at any given moment during the game... it is a moment thing... so when our Brazilian brothers credit Scolari solely with the victory is like an attempt to knock the CREDIT off the Portuguese for the win. All I read here at Yahoo was that Portugal was great in the 2006 World Cup.... "because of Deco"... and now it is Scolari who gets the whole credit and not Portugal for beating Brazil !!... Come on Brazilian guys, you can be a bit more objective than that !! Neither Brazil nor Portugal play friendlies to win.... and that is why we, Portugal, decided to knock two in your net only in the LAST TEN minutes of the game.... GIVE CREDIT WHERE IT IS DUE and this will be a better sporting world for us all !!!

well i think brazil was attacking more than portugal..and portugal took adavantage of that..they attacked when brazil defense wasnt organized, i think also the missing of some players in the game was a big problem for brazil, like robinho, ronaldo and ronaldinho. i think brazil could had a good change if ronaldinho was there bc there was a lot of free kicks for brazil and ronaldinho is very good tacking free kicks...but i guess the most important thing that brazil needs to work on is playing as a team..portugal did that and thats why they won...i think the defense of brazil is a good one..considering that brazil hasnt have really good defenders..so dont worry they are going to get better

They lost to Portugal because Felipão is the best coach of soccer in this moment and Dunga isn't the correct man to the brazilian team. Felipão have the characteristics of Grêmio Foot-ball Portoalegrense and apply this on the Portugal team.

This is the reason of the good results.

Portugal was the better team.

But this is a totally new Selecao for Brasil and the new players have to get their chops on this stage. How many players have you seen before? Only a handful have had a decent amount of caps. Give them a little time.

Also, Ronaldinho and Robinho were both injured. Robinho would have made a big difference.

As policy said before...

Brazil is starting from zero, while Portugal played with almost the same team from the World Cup. They didn't play at the same conditions.

Brazil have become an ordinary team. They are now full of players who are not skillful or perhaps some they are but are restricted by their current coach to play to their best potential. No wonder that they were beaten by Port. Port looked like an old Brazillian team that I know of. In Port, there are many guys who use skills to take on men. They do not only rely on running or speed and one touch footbal. In nowadays if one player for Brazil has a ball, it is now very easy for him to be dispossess because they do not have skills. I really do not see them winning the next world cup because they now look like European teams. There is no difference. They play the same like European teams.

i imagine they were in basic terms outplayed by technique of the Dutch. The Dutch presented out their A+++++ pastime adversarial to Brazil on the 2d 1/2 and Brazil were taken aback to work out an complete diverse crew.

Brazil does not play 'friendlies' to win, they play them to train and evaluate talent. This is frustrating to many people, especially when they do not get a good result, but it has historically prepared them very well for the games that matter. They are preparing for the Copa America, but even there I imagine they will not bring their full wc squad. For Brazil, there is only 1 game that matters and it will be in South Africa in 2010.

They did not have a good game plan, everyone wanted to be the guy who scored. I feel that if Kaka got even a little support from the other players, he would have scored. I hope that they don't play like this in 2010.
