The USA played great defense. Mexico threw everything at the USA, attacked the whole game, and still oculd not score. We played great defense and capitalized on oppurtunities. And although we got a lucky break on the second goal, Donovan owned about 5 Mexican players to score. USA is a verry talented squad and I can't wait to see where they go from here.
Also, all of the Mexican domestic league were in season while our MLS players were not.

Lets get something straight here. US will not always be better than Mexico. Look at the Baseball cup. Mexico beat the US. Last time i checked, Mexico wasnt a baseball powerhouse. Also, just because your in regular season doesnt mean you will be in better fit or whatever. In contrast, it wears you out even more. Im not defending Mexico but im surprised how many ignorant people still live in this world.

How about everyone calms down. There is mud slinging from both sides after this game and we need to remember it's just a game. Let's just wait until the Gold Cup and Copa America for the rematches when Mexico has had more time with their new coach.

Whatever quality of the football, it's clear that the Mexican team has absolutely NO class. No handshake, no jerseys, nothing. And the coach in the postgame gave no credit to the USA's play.
The attitude of the Mexican team is shameful. They should be horrified with themselves for being such babies.
That's probably why they keep losing. You act like losers, you'll be losers. The Mexican team are losers.

USA is a lot better team than Mexico. There's not much else to say except USA!! USA!! USA!! USA!!

Mexico is a third world country with little opportunity for its citizens to reach their potential as athletes or otherwise.
