Taking public transportation, turning off my computer when I am not using it, being more conscientious about recycling, and turning the thermostat down when I leave the house for the day, to about 55-60. Also I try to turn off lights and power strips when they're not in use.
And I have a fuel efficient little car, a Chevy Prism, which gets about 40 mpg.

Combining trips (instead of multiple trips into town)
Ride sharing
Using the Internet instead of library (do not have to drive)
Replace all light bulbs in house with compact fluorescent
Insulated house
Use a swam cooler rather than an air conditioner
