My computer will stream radio stations, but not stock quotes. What is the problem?

I would assume that radio station streams include the ads so they are free and the more people who listen, the better for the advertisers. No ads with stock quotes, you may have to pay a service to provide it.

Streaming quotes require you to pay for the service. The costs for streaming varies, with Level1 being the least expensive, Level 2 (maybe $25 per month) and Level 3 (for professional use) extremely expensive. On-line brokers offer level 1 & 2 service.
