I had a dog one time (collie-Eskimo mute mix) that absolutely loved banana peels. We lived in the country and I found out by accident one day. We had a recycle pit for biodegradable like food and what not, I threw a banana peel in there and the dog pulled it out and ate it, just the banana peel, nothing else. So we starting feeding them to her.

My cat loves bread. When I get back from the store if I do not put the groceries away he will go to the bag with the bread, tear it open and start eating it.

Bagels. Not bread or anything bread like. Only bagels. He'll take a whole bag and save them. I give him one a week as a treat.

Not odd, but my male cat will only eat fresh turkey not processed turkey as a treat...
